My Grandad's 90th Birthday

This is my take 2 on the Once upon a ... sketch June sketch. First time I forgot it was a birthday theme (See my last post for my first attempt at this sketch)

So here is the sketch


And here is my layout of my lovely Grandad who celebrated his 90th Birthday last month


Not sure if you can see my journaling to the right of the pic (might be time to get a better camera and remember to take close ups) inside the circles.
As I am still new at this scrapbooking deal, I was not to sure how closely you needed to follow the sketch, but looking at other peoples work, I am guessing it is just a starting block and your ideas can/will change it. I quite enjoyed making this page and it is the first time I have entered in the Once upon a sketch challenge.

    Oh what a shame you had to create 2 layouts. I have done that often..missed the details and only realised once I have uploaded my layout LOL! Well thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous work with us at OUAS!
