Tigger

I had these lovely photos of my lil boy waiting to scrap. But I have just bought myself a secondhand cricut and thought Tigger would be a good way to scrap these pics. My sister bought him the wee tiger outfit for his birthday.

The photo is not nice as it looks in reality. I used brown tones on tigger instead of orange.

Here is the sentiment.

Southern Girls Challenge have a sentiments and words challenge this fortnight.

Some me time.

Well its been a good year since I used this blog, Having 6 children (well 2 are now adults) can really eat into my "me time" Well my youngest started kindy and I'm slowly beginning to find a little bit of time to do the things I enjoy.

My sister years ago (16 to be exact) took photos of my family while she was doing a photography course. And a few days ago she gave me this black and white photo of my oldest baby who is now 20 years old. So I had a little play and made this scrapbook layout with it.

Hopefully now I have done one I might get the chance to do a few more. I'm entering this into Southern Girls Challenge Sparkle and shine. Thanks for looking :)

In the Pink

My youngest two girls enjoyed going to the field days, they had their faces painted as butterflies. So this is the pink layout I have created using the sketch from Artfull Crafts, flipped over to the left.

I have used washi tape to create the stripe in the background.

Have a wonderful day :)

OWL LOVE

I made this cute card for my lovely hubby. Soon we will be celebrating 20 years of marriage, makes me sound old, but I'm not really, got married at 18 years old so do the math :)

I used Mr and Mrs Owl from Delicious doodles They are very cute. So I doodled them a tree to sit in and using a song, Whitney Houston's "I'll always Love you" I made this sweet card for the Southern Girls Challenge DT Sing out loud. Added a few buttons, pearls and a bit of spotty washi tape and this is how it turned out.

Thanks for looking. I hope to see you making a card or scrapbook page or OTP project for this challenge :)

School Ball

This is my first Layout for the design team at Southern Girls Challenge. The theme is Make Believe.

My son took his lovely girlfriend to the ball and they both scrubbed up so well. His girlfriend organised for him to have a matching pink tie to her dress and even a pink ribbon on his hat.

Here is a close up of the embellishments.

It is a lot of fun and there are some awesome prizes to win

Our very own prince...

Just a few days before my son's second birthday, the royal family announced that they would call their baby George. Well as you can imagine my son George was suddenly given a very regal new nickname...Prince George. Here is a layout or my "poorly" prince on his birthday. Little did we know that he would end up being very unwell with pneumonia a few days later.

I used this sketch from Artfull crafts August challenge.

I used the buttons as they reflected the buttons on his overalls.

Look at the lovely silver shine to this paper

I used this little tag to make hidden journaling, as I am not a very tidy writer.

Thanks so much for looking, feel free to leave me some feedback.
