In the begining

Lets start at the very begining, because we all have to start somewhere. My first encounter with scrapbooking was at a creative memories scrapbooking party in November 2011. I had always keep very nice and detailed baby albums but had never seen or understood the idea of creating beautiful art scrapbook albums. I was quite pleased with my first effort and was quickly hooked. The party provided a page and a photo backing paper and a journaling paper. We had to provide photos but I had not had any printed since getting a digital camera so I brought along the silly leftover tiny photos you always end up with after you have proper portrait family photos. After I got home I added a few extra bits I had from cardmaking. A few weeks later my husband and I had our 18th wedding anniversary and I gathered up the scattered confetti on the table at the restaurant and then glued it on to this page as a border... I might have over done it with the decorations, but I like it.
