And then there were 6

In July last year we welcomed our 6th baby into the brood. Having already had 4 daughters and only one son, it was a very tense moment at the scan appointment waiting to find out the flavour of our wee bundle. For 20 mins the scan person (radioligist?) checked out our little person, peeking a few times to see if we could find out the gender to no avail. Just before we left I asked him to check once more and there it was...We were going to have a son. I cried tears of joy. As we left the hospital my husband whispered to me "lets call him George" and we did. He is 7 months old now and has been such a joyful addition to our household. He has caused us a few exciting (finding out his weight at birth) and scary (being hospitalised for bronchiolitus) moments.

I first tried scrapbooking when he was 4 months old, so he is a very obvious place to start my new (and I am thinking addictive) hobby. I have started to create a baby album for his first year. I will share it with you over time, but for tonight I will show you my layout I have made to celebrate the first glimpses of our wee George.
